About the Lodge

Rothiemurchus Lodge provides accommodation for regular and reserve members of the Armed Forces in addition to veterans, MoD Civilians and Cadet Forces. The families of these groups are also most welcome. The Lodge is now also available for use by schools and similar youth organisations such as Scout Association and Girl Guide Association.

The Lodge has 102 beds over three separate accommodation buildings. The breathtaking Cairngorms and Spey Valley provide the perfect surroundings for skiing, mountain biking, climbing, hillwalking, fishing, canoeing, watersports, golf and much more.

Rothiemurchus has launched a public consultation on its new Long-Term Forest Plan (LTFP) — a 20-year vision to manage the ancient pinewoods for biodiversity, recreation, and sustainable forestry. The plan outlines proposals for habitat restoration, natural regeneration, selective felling, and replanting to ensure a healthy and resilient forest for future generations. We invite local residents, visitors, and community groups to share their views and help shape the future of this unique landscape.Read the full plan and give your feedback:
